When is termite swarmer season in Southern Illinois?

Termite season usually begins in early spring and can continue through summer. The most active time is usually between March and June. Swarmers do not always mean a major infestation, but they do mean termites are active in your area.

How do I tell termites from flying ants?

Termites have straight antennae, wings of equal length and a thick, straight waist. Flying ants have bent antennae, a narrow waist and wings of uneven size.

Why does DIY termite treatment not work?

Store-bought sprays may kill the termites you can see, but they often fail to eliminate the colony, the hidden infestation areas, the entry points and long-term activity.
